WRN Partners with All in Media to Licence Guide Software
London, August 7 2009: WRN today announced that it has partnered with technology specialists All in Media (‘AIM') to provide state of the art EPG software solutions for existing and new clients.
WRN is an international television and radio transmission company, facilitating the worldwide distribution of content and providing solutions for broadcasting clients. WRN has partnered with AIM to licence the use of its ‘Guide' software for the management and submission of Electronic Programme Guide (‘EPG') schedules. The Guide software has been integrated into WRN's EPG offering to allow a more client-friendly and efficient method of both manipulating and submitting EPG data.
AIM Guide is a tool for receiving EPG updates from broadcasters, validating, storing and managing EPG data. The partnership with AIM enables WRN clients to take advantage of this technology that can be configured to ingest schedule listings automatically from a broadcaster's management system and publish to a variety of different formats, e.g. Sky, Freesat, DAB, Virgin Media as well as the broadcaster's own website.
WRN is offering the Guide software to new and existing customers.
Sophie Wilson, Head of Sales and Business Development at WRN, says: "WRN is very pleased to have worked with AIM in the integration of the Guide software. WRN prides itself as being at the sharp end of technology and this partnership means that we will not only be able to streamline EPG management process for existing clients, but will also be able to offer up a state of the art solution for broadcasting clients wishing to take advantage of the Guide technology within WRN's existing, comprehensive EPG submission and management offering."
Chris Gould, Managing Director of All In Media, said "We are delighted to be partnering with WRN to take our Guide software to a broader client base. We know from existing clients that our technology is the perfect solution for efficiently and simultaneously publishing EPG data to multiple platforms. As EPGs become increasingly important for broadcasters, our EPG solution is going to be a must-have tool!"
